Happy 11th Birthday to my grandson Philip!!!!
After a short hike we arrived at another roaring waterfall and river that was great for wading. A group of Blackfeet Indian kids had passed us on the trail and by the time we arrived at the falls they were scampering up the rock at the side of the falls. They were 35 to 40 feet above the water when they started jumping into the pool at the base of the falls! They put on quite a show for us and I think this may be my favorite hike in the park. We are planning on coming back here for a picnic Tuesday and some wading time.
