Diane and I spent the night in a nice little campground in St. Joseph, MO, home of the Pony Express. St. Joseph has been in the Missouri news because the Missouri river has inundated the town and surrounding area. I phoned the campground before we left to confirm they were open and the road was no problem.

Wilson posted earlier that you were running into flooding. I must have stayed not too far from where you are. I remember thinking I wanted to go back to explore Troy where the Pony Express began. I never got there because of the blasted heat. I hope you are in and camped safely for the night.
